Botox is an extremely effective and easy-to-apply medical procedure that both women and men frequently apply. It is recommended to apply the Botox procedure when lines begin to appear on the face during resting. When lines deepening while laughing or smiling begin to appear, these can be easily treated with Botox. In cases where these wrinkles become deep and noticeable, Botox can be used to soften the appearance. When the lines become clear with aging and the skin becomes deeply corrugated, Botox may not be enough to eliminate them.
The skin appearance of the people who apply for the Botox procedure is evaluated first. A personal treatment program is then determined. At this stage, the ideal Botox dose is determined by considering the age and needs of the person. By determining the most appropriate Botox dose and application technique, it is aimed to obtain the maximum benefit and not to compromise on naturality.
What is the Best Age for Botox?
Botox is one of the most effective facial rejuvenation treatments against wrinkles and facial aging. It is often preferred by people who avoid surgical intervention for various reasons, such as not requiring surgery, applying by injection, and short and comfortable healing process.
The ideal age to start Botox treatment varies from person to person. People with excessive use of mimics, thin and dry skin may need Botox at an earlier age. Although it is generally preferred to start Botox application at the end of the 20s and at the beginning of the 30s, it is recommended to start the Botox application at an earlier age in cases where there is excessive exposure to the sun, no sunscreen is used, smoking and genetically prone to wrinkle formation.
When Should Botox Treatment Be Started?
Preventive Botox is generally considered an ideal application in the late 20s, early 30s. This is because it is ideal to treat wrinkles before they even appear. In the early 30s, the first lines and wrinkles usually begin to appear. In general, permanent deep lines and wrinkles do not occur until the late 30s. For this reason, this period is considered the most suitable time for Botox for most people. Even if the use of mimics is not much in the thirties, wrinkles between the eyebrows and around the eyes become visible.
Sun rays, smoking and alcohol consumption can cause wrinkles at an early age. However, stress is among the most important causes of wrinkle formation in people in their early 30s. Stress slows the skin’s ability to heal itself. Although the skin’s natural barrier helps retain moisture in the skin, it can lead to premature aging of the skin if it breaks down.
In the thirties, crow’s feet usually begin to form in the corners of the eyes. This is because the skin around the eyes is thinner and there are less fat-secreting glands here. For this reason, the area has a more sensitive structure to wrinkles and the first lines are usually formed here.
Treatment of crow’s feet with Botox is one of the most effective methods used to soften wrinkles in the area. Since wrinkles around the eyes are one of the most important elements of a natural smile, naturality should not be compromised when applying Botox to the area. If too much Botox is applied around the eyes, an insincere smile may occur. For this reason, it should be preferred to soften the crow’s feet instead of freezing them completely.
What Does Botox Do?
Botox applications made in the 30s have the feature of preventing the muscles from forming wrinkles as a result of habits. Botox limits movements in the muscles. Thus, the muscles cannot be moved too much and the wrinkles do not get deeper.
Botox procedure is usually applied around the eyes, between the eyebrows and on the forehead. The frequency of application of the Botox procedure varies according to the person’s mimic usage habits, muscle activity, needs and the duration of the Botox. Botox loses its effect more quickly in people who smoke, take a bath with hot water, have facial massage and do sports frequently.
Side effects are rarely encountered in the Botox procedure. The most common side effects are known as swelling, redness and mild bruising at the application area. Exercise and bending should be avoided in the first few hours after the Botox injection to ensure that the injected substance is absorbed in the right muscles and to prevent it from passing to the neighboring muscles. After the application, redness may occur in the area. For the first 24 hours, tiring physical activity should be avoided. It is generally permanent for around 6 months. The frequency of repetition of the application is determined individually.
Although Botox is a quick and easy procedure, it must be performed by experts in the field. Thus, the doses to be injected will be adjusted correctly, the application area and needs will be determined correctly, and at the end of this, it will be possible to obtain a natural result.
To combat the effects of aging, preferences should be made according to the needs of the skin, not age. Since people’s skin structures and needs are different, the best time should be determined according to the needs of the person rather than waiting for a standard age for the Botox procedure.
