Breast augmentation is one of the aesthetic operation types that women show the most interest in order to have the appearance they want, to highlight their femininity and to have a more beautiful stance in their clothes. Breasts are undoubtedly the most important element that completes the aesthetic appearance of the female body. The proportions between shoulder width, breast circumference, waist and hip circumference play an extremely important role in the aesthetic appearance of the female body.
Depending on the body structure of each woman, it is possible to have different types of breasts. One of the breasts may be smaller or asymmetrical than the other, or there may be no congenital breast at all. In such cases, a breast augmentation procedure can be applied for both breasts to have an equal appearance, as well as breast augmentation applications can be preferred to add volume to breasts of equal size but smaller than desired.
Breast growth cannot be achieved by doing sports. When you do sports, there is no growth of the breast tissue and the fat tissue inside the breast structure. Only the breast muscles can grow with sports, and this does not give the same results as breast augmentation, which women show great interest in. In fact, contrary to what women want, there is a masculine appearance.
Breast Augmentation with Aesthetic Surgery
The methods used for breast augmentation are fat injection and silicone breast implant placement. Today, the most preferred method for breast augmentation is the placement of a silicone prosthesis, but some women do not want to have a foreign substance such as silicone in their bodies or are worried about a possible complication after the silicone prosthesis is placed. In such cases, it may be possible to apply a natural method through the fat enriched with stem cells. Another advantage of breast augmentation with fat injection is that there is no incision scar.
In the breast augmentation process with fat injection, fat is first removed from a determined area of the person’s body by the liposuction method. Although this area is usually the abdomen and waist region, it can also be the leg, inner thigh, hip or another area where there is sufficient fat accumulation. Fats taken by the liposuction method are stored in a sterile and closed environment. It is then injected into the breasts using sterile injectors. During the fat injection process, an average of 300-450 ml of fat is transferred to each breast, but approximately 60-70% of these fats are permanent. Injecting a larger amount of fat into the breast than necessary may cause impaired circulation and death of the fat.
The biggest advantages of this method are the use of fat taken from the person’s own body in breast augmentation with fat injection, the absence of any foreign material such as silicone prosthesis placed in the body, and the obtaining of a completely natural appearance. The fat injection procedure provides very effective results in asymmetrical breasts and is one of the applications that support the actual surgery in tuberous breasts. Deformities that cannot be corrected by placing a silicone prosthesis are brought closer to normal with the method of fat injection to the breast. After the procedure, slight pain and swelling in the breasts may occur in the areas where liposuction and fat injection are made. These complaints usually resolve spontaneously within 15 days.
Breast Augmentation with Silicone Prosthesis
In addition to providing a fuller appearance to small breasts, silicone prostheses can also play a role in erecting and gaining a new form in breasts with mild sagging problems. Breast augmentation surgery is a surgical procedure that is completed in approximately 2 hours under general anesthesia. While planning the surgery, the compatibility of the patient’s expectations with the body structure is evaluated. And in case of unrealistic expectations, the patient is informed and necessary guidance is given. It is determined from which region and which technique the prosthesis will be placed. According to the determined technique, the implant is placed after 4-5 cm incisions are made from the side of the patient’s nipple, armpit or inframammary fold. By evaluating the breast structure of the patient, the doctor determines whether the silicone prosthesis will be placed behind the breast tissue or behind the chest muscle. During breast augmentation surgery, there is no loss of breastfeeding function since the nerve tissues or milk channels in the patient’s breast are not damaged. After the selected implant is placed, the operation is terminated with aesthetic stitches.
When silicone implants are placed behind the breast muscle, a temporary limitation of arm movements may occur in the first few days after the operation. Although it is considered normal to feel pain for a few days, this can be prevented by using simple painkillers. Edema and bruising may occur around the chest in the first week after the procedure. Regarding pain control and the success of the operation, it is very important to use the special bra recommended by the doctor regularly for the specified period. In order to experience a healthy and fast recovery process, the prescribed medications should not be interrupted, care should be taken to rest for a certain period of time, and all the doctor’s recommendations should be followed completely. This is very important in terms of preventing any complications as well as experiencing a healthy recovery process after breast augmentation surgery.
